In this guide, you'll learn how to connect your Attentive account with Rep to get more subscribers through your chatbot. With Rep, customers can conversationally subscribe to SMS. For example, if a customer asks the bot for a discount, the bot can suggest they subscribe to marketing SMS.
To begin, go to Settings > Integrations and click Add Integration. On the next screen, select Attentive and then click Connect. You'll be redirected automatically to Attentive to authorize the connection. After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to Rep.
Configuring an Attentive sign-up source
Before you can set up a flow to subscribe customers to Attentive, you'll need to configure your Attentive sign-up unit in Rep. In the Attentive dashboard,
- Click Subscribers.
- In the list of sign-up units, locate your Affiliate Integration Endpoint sign-up unit. Ask your Attentive CSM to enable it if you can't find it.
- Copy your Affiliate Integration Endpoint's ID.
- Go back to the Rep dashboard and paste it.
Click Integrations > Attentive > Add, paste the sign-up source, and click Save.
