How It Works
When you configure any SMS marketing integration Power-Up (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Yotpo etc..), your customers will see a phone number field with a country selector dropdown. They can choose their country from the list above, and Rep AI will automatically format their phone number with the correct international code.
The Form Opens on Your Shopper's Country
When your AI asks a shopper for their phone number, the country selector is already set to the shopper's own country. The flag, the dial code, and the number format all match, so shoppers can type their number the way they normally write it and have it accepted the first time.
How Rep AI picks the country
Rep AI looks at information already available on your storefront — no location lookup and nothing extra loaded:
The shopper's browser language and region settings
Your store's country or market
Your chat widget's language setting
If none of these point to a supported country, the form opens on the United States.
Shoppers stay in control
Shoppers can still open the dropdown and pick a different country. Once they choose, Rep AI remembers that choice for the rest of their visit and uses it the next time it asks for a phone number.

No configuration needed — the country list and automatic country selection are already active in your account.
Troubleshooting
A shopper sees the wrong country. Rep AI goes by the shopper's browser region first. If their browser lists only a language with no region (for example, just "Hebrew"), Rep AI may fall back to your store's country instead. The shopper can pick their country from the dropdown, and the form keeps that choice for the rest of the visit.
A shopper's country isn't on the list. The form supports the 12 countries above. Shoppers from other countries will see the United States selected.
