Attentive integration

This guide outlines connecting your Attentive account to Rep and enabling the "Subscribe & Get a Discount" power-up feature available through the Rep x Attentive integration.

Connect your Attentive account to Rep

1. Log into the Rep console at the following link: https://app.hellorep.ai/home
2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
   
   
   
   
3. On the Integrations page, select the Marketing tab at the top, then locate the Attentive card and click Connect. In the pop-up modal that appears, click Connect again.
   
   
   
4. You'll be directed to log into your Attentive account and follow any remaining prompts to approve the required permissions. You will then be redirected to the Rep Console.
5. In the Settings for the Attentive integration card, under Signup Sources, click Add on the right, then paste your Sign Up Source ID and Sign Up Source Label into the respective fields, then click Save in the lower right.

Add your Sign Up Source

After connecting your Attentive account to Rep, follow the steps below to add your Sign Up Source:

1. Log into your Attentive dashboard, then click Subscribers.
2. In the list of sign-up units, locate your Affiliate Integration Endpoint sign-up unit. Inquire with your Attentive Customer Success Manager to enable it if you're unable to locate it.
3. Copy your Affiliate Integration Endpoint's ID.
4. Log into the Rep console at the following link: https://app.hellorep.ai/home
5. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings > Integrations, then click See Details in the Attentive integration card.
   
   
   
   
6. Under Signup Sources, click Add on the right, then paste your Sign Up Source ID and Sign Up Source Label into the respective fields, then click Save in the lower right.
   
   

Enable the "Subscribe & Get a Discount" power-up

Once you've connected your Attentive account to Rep, you'll see an option to add the Subscribe & Get a Discount power-up.

The Subscribe & Get a Discount power-up allows you to offer a discount through the Rep widget, obtain the shopper's contact information, and automatically connect the shopper's contact information to one of your email or SMS lists in Attentive.

To add the Subscribe & Get a Discount power-up:

1. Click Add Power-Up next to Subscribe & Get a Discount to open the Subscribe & Get a Discount pop-up modal.
   
   
   
   
2. Under Customer Details to Collect, choose whether you'd like Rep to collect the shopper's email, phone, and/or name. You can mark each detail as Required, Optional, or Off.
   
   
   
   
3. Under Subscribe to an Email/SMS List, click anywhere on the field to select the list from Attentive. The shopper's contact details will be connected to the selected Attentive list.
   
   
   
   
4. Under Discount, click + Select Discount to select a static discount code from your Shopify store. Selecting a discount is optional.
   
   
5. Finally, click Add Power-Up to save and enable the power-up.

Once you've added the Subscribe & Get a Discount power-up, a Subscribe & Get a Discount chip (suggestion button) will appear in the Rep widget when the shopper opens the widget or when Rep proactively approaches the shopper. When the shopper clicks the chip, Rep will trigger the Subscribe & Get a Discount flow, collecting the shopper's details and subscribing them according to your configured settings.

Rep will also trigger the Subscribe & Get a Discount flow if the shopper inquires about discounts or subscribing to your newsletter via the chat.
