This article outlines how to train your Rep concierge’s AI using URLs.
Understand URL Sources
Your store website serves as the primary information source for your Rep concierge. Your AI is already automatically trained on your entire website, excluding blog pages.
In addition to adding information directly to your website, there are several ways to provide your AI with extra information to answer customer questions. One method is training your Rep concierge’s AI using URLs. (To learn more about other ways to train the AI, please refer to the following Rep help center article: Refine the AI's responses)
These URLs could be pages from external websites, landing pages, or any other type of webpage that contains relevant information for your store. To ensure that Rep provides accurate answers to your shoppers, confirm that any URL you choose to add to Rep’s Knowledge Base contains accurate and relevant information prior to adding it to the Knowledge Base.
Add a URL Source
To add a URL to your Rep AI concierge’s Knowledge Base, follow these steps:
- Log into the Rep console at the following link: https://app.hellorep.ai/home
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to AI Training > Knowledge Base.
- On the Knowledge Base page, select the URL Sources tab on the left.
- Type or paste the desired URL into the Insert URL bar, then press Add URL.
Remove a URL Source
You can also remove external URLs from the URL Sources. Simply search for the specific URL using the All pages search bar, and press the Trash Bin icon to delete.
