Introduction
The Billing page in Rep AI serves as your central hub for managing your subscription, accessing premium AI Talents, and tracking your payment history. This comprehensive dashboard allows you to view your current plan details, monitor visitor usage, manage AI Talents that enhance your chatbot's capabilities, and handle all payment-related information in one convenient location.
Accessing the Billing Page
To access your Billing page:
Log in to your Rep AI Console
Click on your profile icon
A dropdown menu will appear with several options
Select "Billing" from the dropdown menu options
You'll be directed to the main Billing dashboard
Understanding Your Subscription Details
The top section of the Billing page displays your current subscription information:
Current Plan
Plan Name: Shows your active subscription tier (e.g., "AI Sales Assistant - Advanced Plus Annual Plan")
Plan Amount: Displays your current plan's cost (e.g., "$18,950")
Plan Renewal Date: Indicates when your subscription will automatically renew (e.g., "12 Apr 2026")
Visitor Usage: Shows your current visitor count out of your plan's total allocation (e.g., "2,145,782 / 5,000,000 visitors")
Upgrade Plan Button: Allows you to explore and switch to higher-tier plans with additional features
Viewing Your Invoices and Payment History
Your Billing page experience depends on how your Rep AI subscription is billed — either through Shopify or directly through Stripe.
If You Pay Through Shopify
If you installed Rep AI from the Shopify App Store, your subscription payments are handled entirely by Shopify. This means your invoices and payment records live in your Shopify admin — not inside the Rep AI Console.
On the Billing page, you'll see a Billing history section with a brief explanation and a "View invoices in Shopify" button. Clicking this button opens your Shopify admin billing page in a new tab, where you can:
View all past invoices for your Shopify apps, including Rep AI
Download receipts for your records
Manage your payment method on file with Shopify
If the button is not visible, the explanatory text will still confirm that your billing is managed through Shopify. You can navigate to your Shopify admin manually by going to Settings > Billing in your Shopify admin panel.
If You Pay Directly (Stripe)
If your subscription is billed directly through Stripe, you'll see the following sections on your Billing page:
Payment Method
Displays your active payment card (e.g., Visa ending in 4329)
Shows the card's expiration date
Provides an "Edit" button to update your payment information
Billing Details
Displays the billing name and address associated with your account
Shows the email address where invoices and receipts are sent
Includes an "Edit" button to update your billing information
Billing History
A chronological record of all your past transactions
Each entry shows the date, invoice ID, and amount
Download option for invoice receipts
Managing AI Talents
The AI Talents section provides access to specialized capabilities that enhance your AI assistant's functionality. Each talent serves a specific purpose to help you maximize your chatbot's effectiveness.
Available AI Talents
Sales Skills
Purpose: Proactively converts disengaged shoppers through AI-driven engagement
Key Feature: Automatically reaches out to hesitant customers with personalized shopping assistance
Benefit: Increases conversions, cart adds, and overall order value
Availability: Included with Sales Assistant and Concierge plans
Support Skills
Purpose: Automates customer service inquiries without human intervention
Key Feature: Handles common support scenarios like order cancellations, address changes, and order tracking
Benefit: Reduces support tickets and provides 24/7 instant customer assistance
Availability: Available with Support Agent and Concierge plans
Expert Zone
Purpose: Provides advanced configuration tools for power users
Key Feature: Allows deep customization of your AI assistant's behavior, responses, and proactive sales approaches
Benefit: Gives you complete control over your customer journey and brand voice
Availability: Available as a paid add-on to your existing plan
Access: Included with certain premium plans or can be added separately
Activating Additional AI Talents
If an AI Talent is not included in your current plan:
Locate the talent you want to add in the AI Talents section
Click the "Get access" button
Follow the prompts to add this capability to your subscription
The additional cost will be reflected in your total amount
Managing Your Subscription
Editing Subscriptions
The "Edit subscriptions" toggle allows you to make changes to your current subscription:
Toggle the switch to enable editing mode
Make your desired changes (upgrading, downgrading, or adding AI Talents)
Confirm your changes to update your subscription
Troubleshooting Billing Issues
If you encounter any issues with your billing:
Verify your payment method is current and has sufficient funds
Check that your billing address matches your payment card information
Review your subscription status to ensure it's active
If you pay through Shopify and can't find your invoices, use the "View invoices in Shopify" button on your Billing page, or navigate to Settings > Billing in your Shopify admin
