This article explains the Support sidebar, what happens when it is removed, and how to remove it.
About the Support sidebar
The Support sidebar is a floating tab that appears on the edge of your Rep widget.
When a shopper clicks this tab, Rep will trigger the Contact Support flow: Rep will gather the shopper's contact details and send you a notification email, so that you can respond immediately in a live chat or follow up with the shopper at a later time to provide human support.

When the sidebar is removed
Even if the Support sidebar is removed, Rep will still trigger the Contact Support flow in the following scenarios:
- Rep cannot find the answer to the shopper's inquiry
- Rep cannot perform an action requested by the shopper
- The shopper's message includes a request for human support.
Steps to remove the sidebar
If you prefer to remove this sidebar, follow the steps below to do so:
- Log into the Rep Console at the following link: https://app.hellorep.ai/home
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to Settings > Chat Widget.
- Toggle the Contact Support Sidebar switch OFF, then click Save and Preview.
