Okendo connects to Rep AI as two separate power-ups that share the same credentials:

Before You Start
You'll need:
An active Okendo account with Reviews and/or Loyalty enabled
Your Okendo User ID and API Key (found in your Okendo admin under Settings → Integrations)
Both the Reviews and Loyalty power-ups use the same User ID and API Key, so once you connect one, the other can reuse the same credentials.
How to Connect Okendo
Step 1: Find Your Okendo Credentials
Log into your Okendo admin
Go to Settings → Integrations
Locate your User ID and API Key
Keep these handy — you'll paste them into Rep AI in the next step
Step 2: Open Your Rep AI Integrations
Log into your Rep AI Console
Go to Settings in the left sidebar
Open the Integrations section
Find the Okendo Reviews and Okendo Loyalty cards
Step 3: Connect Okendo Reviews
Click Connect on the Okendo Reviews card
Paste your Okendo User ID and API Key into the fields
Confirm to connect — Rep AI checks your credentials to make sure they work
Once verified, the card shows a green Connected badge
Step 4: Connect Okendo Loyalty
Click Connect on the Okendo Loyalty card
Because both power-ups share the same credentials, your Okendo details can be reused from the Reviews connection

You can connect the two power-ups in either order, and you can connect just one if you only use Okendo Reviews or only Okendo Loyalty.
Step 5: Test It
After connecting Loyalty, use the "What's next?" guidance on the card to test the experience — log in as a customer who has loyalty points and try the proactive approach on your homepage to see Rep AI recognize their rewards.

Loyalty in conversation
When a customer is logged into their Shopify account, Rep AI automatically knows their Okendo points balance and VIP tier and can bring them up at the right moment:
Rep AI: "Before you go — as a Gold member you have 450 points available. That's a nice reward waiting for you!"
If a shopper asks "Do I have any points?", Rep AI can answer directly. And if they aren't enrolled in your rewards program yet, Rep AI can encourage them to sign up.

Train Your AI to Explain What Points Are Worth
Rep AI knows how many points a customer has, but not what they're worth in your store's currency. Add that context in the Training section of your Console so your AI can be specific. For example:
"Our loyalty program: 100 points = $1 off. Whenever you mention a customer's points, explain what they're worth."
"Explain that points are redeemed at checkout."
Make the Most of VIP Tiers
"Greet VIP members by their tier and thank them for being a loyal customer."
"When a VIP-tier customer is shopping, highlight that their status makes this a great time to buy."
Guide When Reviews and Points Come Up
"When a shopper is weighing a product, mention its star rating and what reviewers love."

Q: Do I have to connect both Reviews and Loyalty?
A: No. You can connect just one if that's all you use in Okendo. Connecting both gives your AI the fullest picture.
Q: Do the two power-ups need separate credentials?
A: No. Okendo Reviews and Okendo Loyalty use the same User ID and API Key, so you only need to enter your credentials once.
Q: Does Rep AI tell customers what their points are worth in dollars?

Q: Can I control when Rep AI brings up reviews or points?
A: Yes. Use your AI Instructions in the Training section to guide when and how your AI mentions reviews and loyalty rewards. You're in full control of the messaging.
Troubleshooting
Connection didn't verify:
Double-check that both your User ID and API Key are copied completely, with no extra spaces
Confirm your Okendo account has API access enabled
If you're unsure where to find your credentials, look in your Okendo admin under Settings → Integrations
Reviews or points aren't coming up in conversations:
Confirm the Okendo power-up is connected in your Console (green badge)
For loyalty, make sure the customer is logged in or has provided their email
Check that the customer's email matches their Okendo loyalty account
For reviews, confirm the product actually has reviews in Okendo
Your AI doesn't explain what points are worth:
This is expected — Rep AI receives the points count, not the dollar value. Add the value to your AI Instructions in the Training section (for example, "100 points = $1 off. Always explain this when mentioning points").
