The AI Personality page in the Rep Console helps you shape how your AI assistant communicates. The information you enter into the fields on this page influences the AI's tone, phrasing, and level of response detail. The goal is to make sure your AI sounds just like your brand and connects naturally with your shoppers.
Navigate to the AI Personality page
To access the AI Personality page:
- Log into the Rep Console at the following link: https://app.hellorep.ai/home
- In the left-hand menu, navigate to AI Training > AI Personality.
Configure the AI personality settings
Below is a breakdown of each setting and how to configure it.
Describe your brand's tone of voice
Purpose
The tone of voice field controls the way your assistant communicates with shoppers. Think of it like this: If your brand were a person, how would it talk? How would it greet someone or explain a product?
Best practices
- Keep it concise—no more than 4 words or traits
- Use descriptive adjectives that capture your brand's personality
Describe your brand
Purpose
Provides context for how the AI frames answers and references your brand values during conversations.
Best practices
- Focus on your brand's core values and personality
- Mention key characteristics that make your brand unique
- Keep it authentic to how you want customers to perceive you
Describe your customers
Purpose
Helps the AI better empathize with shopper needs and adjust phrasing to resonate with your specific customer base.
Best practices
- Think about your typical customer's characteristics and values
- Consider demographic, psychographic, and behavioral traits
How detailed will the responses be?
This dropdown controls the verbosity and depth of your AI's responses. You can choose between As short as possible and Detailed.
As short as possible:
- Brief, concise responses that get straight to the point.
- Best for fast-paced shopping experiences or mobile-first audiences.
Detailed:
- Comprehensive responses with thorough explanations and context.
- Perfect for complex products or customers who need comprehensive information.
Further AI Instructions
In the Further AI Instructions field, you can provide the AI with behavioral instructions you want it to follow for all interactions.
