This is done using Rep's Sales Skills: from Homepage to Cart, each Sales Skill is dedicated to a different step in the e-com shopping experience.
In the Rep console, you can find the different Sales Skills:
- Convert from all other pages: Targets customers across various non-specific pages to optimize overall engagement and sales, showing a 100% CVR and significant sales;
- Disengaged customer on a collection/product/out-of-stock product page: Targets disenagaged shoppers on collection or product pages;
- Disengaged customer on the homepage (new visitor): Targets first-time visitors who are disengaged on the homepage;
- Disengaged customer on the homepage (returning customer/visitors): Engages returning customers or visitors showing disinterest on the homepage;
- Disengaged shopper after viewing cart: Focuses on customers who abandon their shopping cart, leave the website, and come back;

Upsell after add-to-cart: Initiates an upsell after a customer adds a product to their cart.
How do I activate the Sales Skills?
If Sales Skills are included in your Rep plan, they will be automatically enabled for you when you launch your AI Concierge - nothing is needed from your side.
Your AI Concierge has been programmed to function as the best salesperson you've ever had; it will analyze each and every customer's behavior, and, if needed, will approach them at the perfect timing with just the right approach, to help them complete their purchase.
Can I instruct my AI Concierge on how to approach my shoppers?
Yes! The AI instructions tool allows you to customize the AI Concierge's approaches. Your instructions will allow the AI to craft a brand-specific, unique opening line or message tailored to the shopper's situation and your preference.
The AI knows a lot about your brand and shoppers, and will adjust itself to the specific shopper; when shaping your AI Concierge's approaches, the sky is the limit! Feel free to use any of the following details about your shoppers when providing your instructions:
- Used platform (Desktop/Mobile);
- Current visited URL;
- Previously visited URLs in the same session;
- Shopper's location: Country, US state, city, town.
- Current Products in the Cart;
- Customer’s last purchase (for returning customers);
- Customer name (for returning customers);
- Current local holiday;
- Conversation history.
Examples:
- You just launched international shipping and would like the AI to mention this to all international shoppers (and only to them). Here's a great prompt to use:
"IF AND ONLY IF you detect someone's location is outside of the United States, YOU MUST ALWAYS let them know in your greeting message that we now ship internationally"
- You'd like your AI Concierge the call returning customers by their name, just like a service-oriented, loyal team member would do in a brick-and-mortar store. In this case, the following instructions can work:
"When greeting customers, ALWAYS call them by their name if you know it"
How do I customize the AI's approaches?
The process is really easy! Enter the Rep console, hover over the left menu, and click on AI Training > Proactive Sales Skills. All sales skills, organized by funnel step, will show.
Click on Settings to edit any Sales Skills, scroll down to the Additional AI instructions tab, and provide your instructions:
