Rep does offer a live chat. While Rep integrates with Zendesk, Gorgias, and Richpanel, you do not need any integration to enjoy a live chat with your customers - we've got you covered.
Rep offers two types of live chat:
- Agent Drop-In: This occurs when you decide to take over the conversation. The customer will not know you can join the chat until you actually do and start interacting with them.
- Customer-Initiated Human Handoff: This happens when a customer submits an inquiry to contact support. Then, you can start a live chat with them through the console.
For customers, it's a seamless handover. When you respond to their message while they're still on your website, the Rep widget changes colors, and Rep notifies them that they're now connected to an agent. You can then start chatting live via the Rep console. Everything continues naturally in the Rep chat, picking up right where the AI conversation left off.
On your end, you'll handle the chat directly from the Console as a natural continuation of the conversation without switching to a different platform.
