This is made possible through the use of Finder (Quiz) Components, which allow you to collect information from your customers and recommend products accordingly. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up and customize the Finder (Quiz) Component for your business.
1. Getting Started with the Finder (Quiz) Component
To begin, simply click on your Finder (Quiz) Component within your flow to access all the available options on the left-hand side. Let’s go through the key settings and how to customize them.
2. Greeting
You have the option to greet your customers before diving into the questions. This greeting is not mandatory, but it can be a nice touch. If you wish to add a greeting, simply type it into the Greeting field. You can leave it blank if you prefer to go straight into the quiz.
3. Questions
The Questions section is where you define what your customers will be asked during the quiz. You can either:

Enable the "Questions managed by AI" feature: This will allow Rep to automatically generate relevant questions based on the customer’s profile and behavior.

Manually create your own questions: If you'd rather design the questions yourself, click on "Add filtering question" to add custom questions. Once added, you can rearrange the questions by dragging and dropping them into the preferred order.
Important: The questions in your quiz work like a pyramid. The first question typically has the most options for Rep to choose from, allowing it to gather broader information. As the customer progresses through the quiz, the questions narrow down the options until Rep reaches the final question and provides tailored product recommendations.
4. Result Prompt

The Result Prompt is the message displayed to the customer before showing the product recommendations. The default text is "Here is what I found based on your choices," but you can customize it to suit your brand's voice.
5. After Add-to-Cart
Once Rep presents the product recommendations, the customer has the option to either:
- Click "Learn More" to be redirected to the product page.
- Add the product directly to the cart within the chat.
By default, after the product is added to the cart, Rep will ask, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" and offer follow-up options.
If you'd like to customize this flow, click on "Continue to flow" and select the next flow to be triggered after a successful add-to-cart.
6. Limit to Groups
This tab allows you to control the scope of products included in the Finder (Quiz). You can choose from the following options:
- The collection viewed by the customer: Limit the results to products the customer has already viewed during the quiz.
- No limitation: Include any product available on your Shopify store.

Pre-defined Product Groups: You can further narrow down the results to specific product groups. There are two options here:
- Any: Show products from any selected product group.
- All: Show only products that belong to all selected product groups.
7. Settings

In the Settings section, you can customize the following options:
Product Carousel Options
Choose how you'd like the customer to interact with the product results:
- Both add-to-cart and redirect to PDP: This allows the customer to either be redirected to the product page or add the product to their cart.
- Redirect to PDP only: The customer will be redirected to the product page after viewing the results.
- Add-to-cart only: The customer will be able to add the product to their cart without being redirected to the product page.
Carousel Thumbnail Size

Select the size for the product images displayed in the quiz results:
- Normal: The product images will be displayed in a normal size.
- Small: The product images will be displayed in a smaller size.
By default, the thumbnail size is set to "Normal."
