With the Subscribe Component, you can easily collect marketing leads by inviting customers to subscribe to your lists. You can integrate the component with one of our marketing partners (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Omnisend, etc.) to send the collected contacts directly to your marketing platform or simply download them in a CSV format from the Rep console.
Understanding the Fields in the Subscribe Component
When you click on your Subscribe Component, you will see several fields on the left. Here's a breakdown of what each field means:
Opt-in
The Opt-in field allows you to ask customers if they want to subscribe before requesting their contact details. This step is optional, and you can choose whether to use it.
Cases
Once you invite customers to subscribe, there are three possible scenarios:

Customer provides their contact details
If the customer chooses to subscribe, they will provide their required contact details. This is covered by the "After the customer subscribes" case. -
Customer decides not to subscribe
If the customer opts not to subscribe, they can click the Cancel button in the chat. This is covered by the "If the customer cancels:" case. -
Rep recognizes the customer as an existing subscriber
If the customer has already subscribed, Rep will recognize them as an existing subscriber. This is covered by the "The customer was already subscribed:" case.
For each of these scenarios, you can decide what happens next by clicking on the Continue to flow bar under each case title.
Fields
The Fields section allows you to choose which contact details your customers need to provide in order to subscribe. You can select the specific information required for subscription.
Settings
To set up your marketing lists, click on the + icon. You’ll be able to see all your marketing lists from Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, Omnisend, etc. Choose the list you want your customers to subscribe to when using the Subscribe Component.
Legal Disclosure
If you want to present a legal disclosure to users before they subscribe, you can fill in this content block. Note that this is optional.
Prevent Re-subscription
You can also prevent a customer from re-subscribing if they’ve already subscribed by enabling the Prevent re-subscription toggle. This will ensure that customers who have already subscribed aren’t asked to subscribe again.
